Stayed for a week, cottage well equipped, although some extra bedding would have came in handy as was very cold and wet but plenty heaters to pop on. Was wet and muddy for dog so summer would probably be better option if we were to rebook, however shower room ideal for washing them down. Our only grumble was the memory foam mattress which we found uncomfortable and didn't make for a good night's sleep. Views are lovely and if you're looking for seclusion and peace look no further.

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage and I'm sure we will stay again.. The only downside we had was that on the first day the hottub was no where near temperature so we weren't able to go in the first night. Was lovely the rest of the time and great walks to have with the dog.

It would have been really nice to have had a Christmas tree in the cottage.. Also recommends good walks to the local pub and the Marina , but there were no foot paths so walking on grass verges at this time of the year was not an option too muddy . However, this did not spoil our break , the Cottage was very cosy ,very well equipped and lovely we both felt so relaxed. We would recommend this to others and woul stay again .

What an absolute little gem.. Loved everything about this beautiful cottage. Everything we needed was supplied, the owners left milk in the fridge and even a welcome box of chocolates. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely try to stay there again. Thank you

Did find the large industrial gate at entrance to the drive was hard to open and close.. Overall for a small cottage we had everything we needed! It would have been helpful if the sign for Owl Cottage was more prominent, especially in the dark and on the bend in the busy road.

It was everything we hoped for.. The cottage was quiet and well equipped the owners made sure we had everything we needed and left us a very useful visitors folder with lots of information and advice on things to do. The cottage itself was lovely and the hot tub was an added bonus. Our dogs loved the big open spaces and I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. Skyes Cottages kept us well informed on the lead up to the holiday and we would use both them and owl cottage again.

Such a great holiday, we have booked again for a weekend away next year as well.. Fantastic place for the dog as well. Nice big secure garden, although don't let your dog leave toys out there overnight as a fox managed to nab one and we found it a few days later in the field next to the house! Hot tub was such a great addition, there was nothing better than getting in after a long day of walking. Pub quite easy walking distance and is dog friendly.

This was our 27th.. wedding anniversary and we had a great time at Owl Cottage. Everything you needed for a week away was provided for. The owners left milk and chocolates for us. The local pub was 10 minutes away and local shop was twenty minutes away. The views from the cottage were stunning and the hot tub was amazing. We were not far from Warwick castle which was a good day out. This is the best time that my wife and I have had on holiday.

The cottage was clean very compact everything was there but as i am disabled i found a bedroom with just 18 inch either side of the bed i found it very difficult, to get onto the bed the bedroom far to small for me Bathroom also to small for me shower with a seat good for me The cottage for a more able person would be better manageable we made a tour around the area and had a resonable holiday The pub with in walking distance the shop a good 20 minute car journey and being the only shop for miles very dear Not the best holiday we have had with you but attention should be made not disabled friendly We will be booking our next holiday with you but not owl cottage

Beautiful little cottage that was a perfect location for some sightseeing in the area.. The hot tub was a lovely bonus that we used everyday to help unwind. The owners left us a couple of treats to find upon arrival that were a lovely touch.

We needed a get away to relax and that's exactly what we did. Totally isolated with nothing overlooking the property. Kept the doors open and let the dogs come and go as they pleased as there is a gate leading to the road and a field for them to roam. Local pub 10 minutes walk away, which was lovely. Hot tub was excellent even though we only used it once. Napton village is lovely with a post office/shop/cafe the centre of the community. Will look at booking again. It's just what was needed.

Owl cottage is perfectly situated for a peaceful relaxing break.. Everything you need is available with the addition of a hot tub to wind down in. Our only concern would be the hard mattress.

This cottage totally exceeded our expectations. Cosy, warm, welcoming with everything you could need. The woodburner was easy to light The heating was spot on The bed comfy The hot tub? The cottage is one bedbroom with a sofa bed upstairs. Whilst it is a lovely place to stay it's worth mentioning that the double bed has a memory foam mattress - which meant that we slept in the sofa bed upstairs so not exactly a relaxing week. The hot tub is so nice but it does make a noise when it gets below it's set temperature which did wake me up at times. The cottage isn't as remote as it appears in the photographs and the main road is at the end of the drive. We have friends who stay here every year who have dogs and they love the fact that the cottage garden is secure for the dogs to run around without escaping.

The privacy was awesome, and the surrounding countryside. Even the rain didn't stop us going in the fabulous hot tub. The owners had thought of everything, you could have baked a cake had you wanted to, everything you could possibly need was there. It was clean and perfect, this cottage would be hard to beat.

This small, beautifully appointed cottage is set amongst fields and is secluded and peaceful. It has a fenced in garden which makes it safe for little dogs and the hot tub is perfect for after a days walking. We saw hare nearby and a Red Kite sat in a tree nearby - both visible from the hot tub. Little touches such as tea and milk and some chocolates on arrival show that the owners really care about your stay. It was cold during the week but the cottage is warm even without lighting the wood burner. Walks along the nearby canal are easy and safe with two pubs on the way. The furthest, The Folly is 50 minutes away and had lovely pub food and a very friendly atmosphere. The Kings Head is a very short walk away and serves proper Gastro Pub food - you need to book it is so popular - but with none of the pretension that tends to be associated with "Gastro". Both pubs are dog friendly.

This cottage is an amazing little cottage based outside Napton on the Hill. This gives you the feeling of complete privacy whilst only being 5 minutes from a pub/ shop. We had an amazing stay over new year, the view are incredible and the log burner and hot tub are wonderful added bonuses. Watching the fireworks whilst in the hot tub on New Year was an unforgettable experience. The cottage is cosy and is extremely well equipped. We would definitely stay here again!
