Orcaber Farm Barn is a charming barn conversion resting one mile from the village of Austwick in North Yorkshire. Hosting two super king-size bedrooms with en-suites, and a single, this property can sleep up to five. people. Inside you will also find a cloakroom and an open plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with a woodburner. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden. Situated in a wonderful setting and close to local attractions, Orcaber Farm Barn is a great choice for a holiday in this wonderful part of England.

Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 x super king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x single. Ground floor basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen,dining area and sitting area with woodburner.

Area
Arguably one of the finest areas for walking in the region, the village of Austwick provides an excellent base for ramblers looking to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Full of limestone pavements and scars, caves and open moors, this diverse and varied scenery offers a wealth of cycle tracks and walks through areas full of natural interest. In addition to boasting a local pub serving home cooked meals as well as a country hotel for an extra special night out, Austwick also has a shop and post office to meet visitors daily needs.

This is the best holiday cottage/barn we have ever stayed in.. Warm welcome from the owners, lovely little touches like milk in fridge (a must for a much needed cuppa after travelling), fresh flowers on the table and all homely comforts including big fluffy towels!! There has clearly been a lot of thought put into this holiday accommodation to ensure you have a perfect holiday, we even had time to watch a few films through Netflix whilst relaxing on the reclining sofa. Sheer Bliss! Gaynor & Neil deserve much praise and we have already been recommending to people. Thank you for such an enjoyable holiday - we hope to return!

This was the 2nd time we stayed in this area, the 1st time was within the other cottage.. again, this barn conversion was beautiful... beyond beautiful! so clean, great layout and everything provided that you could need. our dogs loved the big paddock that has been created for dogs. only a short walk to Austwick which has some amazing walks and one of the best pubs in the area! the owners are just lovely... they even remembered us from our 1st stay. a really high recommendation for their properties. it literally is the most relaxing holiday I have been on!

This property is very well equipped with good to luxurious fitments.. Way above usual farm cottage standards . Situated in an area with acess to all parts of north yorkshire dales,Exceptionally well run farm and properties .well worth another visit

We had a great stay at the cottage.. It was a real home from home. Very spacious but cosy. All the facilities were very modern yet the decorations and finishing touches still gave it a barn/ cottage feel. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs, it’s a beautiful location. The owners were very helpful, checking everything was ok and advising us about local walks etc!

This was lovely accommodation on a working farm.. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed watching the horses and their foals. It was great for the dogs with the enclosed garden. The location was perfect. The local villages were gems and we enjoyed discovering each one, with lakes, canals,streams, rivers,pretty bridges and gorgeous walks, pubs, restaurants and cafes. We were within striking distance of the major attractions and also the Lake District where we enjoyed a magical day on lake Windermere. Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage in a wonderful location.

Orcaber Farm Barn offers excellent accommodation that has been designed and renovated to a very high standard and includes all amenities.. Great area for dog walking, visiting local attractions and just switching off, a real get away. Very easy access to the property and proprietors welcoming and very friendly. Would highly recommend this venue.

We had a great week here and appreciated the quality of Orcaber Barn.. It has been fitted out to a really high standard and the friendly owners are on hand should you need anything. It's close to many of the major Dales attractions like Malham Cove, the Ingleton Waterfall trail and the White Scar Caves.

Had a fantastic stay here with my dad for his birthday.. Ideal location for keen walkers as right on the boarder for the Forest of Bowland and the dales. Also not too far from the edge of the lake district too. Beautiful views of the surrounding area from the barn. Accommodation itself had everything you could possibly think of and of high quality too. Only point to make is that although the property is dog friendly, dogs are only allowed downstairs in this property something for pet owners to be aware of when booking as doesn't mention in description. Owners on site but not intrusive and very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend and will be back.

The owners were always on hand but not intrusive and were anxious to make sure we enjoyed our stay.. The farmhouse is very comfortable. We went in December to meet friends and found it really cosy due to the log burner and underfloor heating. We were the first guests after the farmhouse was finished and it is well equipped with just about everything you could need including fluffy towels, fluffy duvets and a full tange of kitchen appliances so you can cook if you choose not to eat out at one of the many local hostelries serving excellent food. The farmhouse is located in a cobbled courtyard so no muddy boots but there is a stable and working farm around the back if you want to say hello to the horses and livestock. Dogs are made welcome and there is an enclosed area to exercise your dog(s) safely. Highly recommended and a little gem.
