What a fantastic cottage and location.. The beds were super comfy, the house had everything we needed and had little extras that we weren’t expecting. The location was perfect, we were able to easily access so much of what the peaks have to offer. It was a perfect holiday for our family of four.

Great accommodation .... Great accommodation Tucked away in the countryside Great facilities Just wish they had doors ( though we knew there weren’t any as stated) and black out blinds Everything is relatively close 15-20 mins away from attractions (Visited Bakewell bakery/ railways and Matlock Aquarium Will visit heights of Abraham next)

Lovely to have two double bedrooms with plenty of space in the cottage.. The inside was actually much nicer than it looked in the pictures. Cosy place even in the snow!! Had an enjoyable week here.

Lovely people who are very helpful, cottage is very warm, cosy and comfy so been ideal for good sleep around our visits to alton towers.. Only thing I would ask is if theres a possibility of having copies of menus from local pubs as the people I travel with are fussy eaters and it would have helped us make a decision where to eat!

We were warmly welcomed by Sue to a lovely warm cottage.. It was beautifully presented and had everything you could possibly want. The only negatives were the lack of broadband and phone signal - but we were aware of that before we booked - also the television some times pixellated or lost signal. Perhaps a satellite provider would cure that. All in all a lovely experience staying in a centrally located area for the site seeing we wanted to do.

We had a lovely time in this cottage.. It was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Great place to stop and explore the local area. Only thing missing was WIFI, but this was a really small thing as it was actually lovely to be able to switch off from everything for a few days (would have just been handy to help plan days out). Many thanks for your hospitality.

We had the most amazing holiday and the accommodation was absolutely perfect.. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved seeing (and hearing!) the donkeys each day and the location was perfect for our visits to Crich Tramway Village, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. The very lovely lady (unfortunately we didn't get her name) who welcomed us was extremely helpful and pleasant. We'd be back in a heartbeat! :-)

Very convenient location in wonderful area.. Cottage spacious, comfortable and warm. Plenty of hot water! There was a very cold wind blowing most of our week and it was lovely to come back to a warm cottage. Parking the easiest I've ever known and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby and the changing colours of the trees and the scenic views as we explored were amazing.

Lovely cottage that comfortably fits 4 people and the dog.. The place is without internet but that is part of the joy of going away for a week. Located near the tissington Trail and close to other centres like Buxton and Ashborne.

Well equipped just doesn't cover this cottage! An added bonus was the zip-lock beds, meaning you can choose to have either two double or two single rooms. It was nice to be staying on a working farm, where the nearest neighbours were Poppy and Maggie (two donkeys in a nearby field). There were plenty of other animals around too - sheep, cows, ducks and chickens. There were beautiful local walks, right from the door - absolutely perfect for walkers and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
