Small resort "De Wierde", surrounded by trees and fields. Outside the resort, 2 km from the centre of Den Oever, in a quiet position, 5 km from the sea, 5 km from the beach. For shared use: property. Children's playground (swing, sandbox). Private: garden. Terrace, parking at the house. Supermarket 2 km, restaurant, bar 50 m, bakery 2 km, sandy beach "Lutje strand" 8 km (small). Nearby attractions: Informatiecentrum Vikingen 3 km, Landgoed Hoenderdaell in Anna Paulowna 16 km, Marinemuseum in Den Helder 24 km, Fort Kijkduin 27 km, Monkey Town in Schagen 28 km, De Holle Bolle Boom 38 km. except for a few small practical things in the design of the house (such as hooks in the kitchen for towels ......) it is a very cozy and tastefully decorated house. It was a bit of a search before we found the house: when booking there was number 41, we eventually got the key with number 30, which eventually turned out to be the correct house number. A small adjustment in this regard would be desirable. But like I said: it's just futulities! Nice

Cozy cottage to use as a base to do things in the top of North Holland. For example, you can easily reach the boat to Texel (den Helder). Great kitchen, great shower and good bedrooms. The park itself is still under construction, so it still looks a bit sloppy, once finished it will be a beautiful park. Unfortunately, there was knee-high grass around the only playground equipment in the park.

We spent three days in this small bungalow. Two adults and a dog felt very comfortable here. Everything was clean, tidy and everything you need was there. We have made beautiful trips to the surrounding area.

The accommodation was great for us. We stayed there for a week with our dog. The bedroom is a bit small, but the living/dining area is absolutely sufficient and offers everything you need. In our opinion, the accommodation would not be suitable for more people or with several dogs. The location is perfect for guests who like it quieter and are willing to explore the area by car. We liked Harlingen best.

It was a nice house and it was a good place to be. The kitchen utensils were scanty and the internet, especially on weekends, was useless. There was not much to do in the area. A nice base for people who want to sail or something.

We enjoyed the cozy cottage in the quiet park. Beautifully situated in nature. For us it was the first time that the dog went with us, and she also loved staying. Beautiful walks between the meadows, in Den Oever itself and a day trip to Den Helder. We could order food at the restaurant De Zingende Wielen, the spareribs and schnitzel tasted good. Overall a wonderful weekend away.

Wij waren zeer tevreden over het huisje. Mooi, netjes an alles aanwezig. *De magnetron werkt niet helemaal goed. *De vloer kraakt een beetje, niet echt hinderlijk. Er wordt wel erg hard gereden op t terrein. Echt super goed! *Bij aankomst moest ik 2 euro administratie kosten bijbetalen om te kunnen pinnen. Dat is 5% boven op de extra kosten. Dat vind ik wel wat raar en niet volgens afspraak! Dit is een smetje op ons verblijf geweest! Hierover mogen jullie mij contacten!

We had a really nice few days at the property. The garden is great for children. We would recommend the house immediately despite minor defects. It is furnished to a high standard, the quirks of the time are just part of it. Lots of storage space. The complex is well-kept, only the speeders disturb. The only point of criticism was the cleanliness, there was dog hair everywhere, it was only poorly mopped. The pots were all in the cupboard unwashed, scrambled eggs and pasta, the cleaning crew must have missed that.

Very quiet location, which was important to us, the supermarket was also easy to find, it was open every day. The kitchen equipment could be a bit more, but otherwise it was a very comfortable cottage.

The chalet is located in a very quiet park. That's the only problem. It is very remote and the closest things to do can only be reached by car. The chalet itself is very comfortably furnished and absolutely sufficient to switch off from everyday life.

A few kitchen utensils were missing, larger coffee cups, small plates or boards. The house itself was well equipped. Unfortunately, the double bed was quite small and very soft, the single beds were bigger but rock hard, but new mattresses and protectors everywhere. The toilet is for taller people, or those with claustrophobia already uncomfortable. Bath so far ok. Furniture all quite worn. W-Lan available, but hardly usable due to the poor speed. Very thin walls, at night the traffic on the main road and highway could be heard through closed windows. But for the price you can probably. don't expect any more. The holiday park is apparently heavily used by guest workers. Unfortunately, some dog owners do not consider it necessary to collect their four-legged friends' business, so be careful when entering the green areas.

A nice little house that left something to be desired in terms of equipment and cleanliness. Upon arrival, the cupboards in the kitchen weren't exactly clean and the coffee filter from the previous guest was still in the machine... The mattresses on all the beds are a disaster, to be honest... Otherwise, the area and the facility are perfectly fine and it was great that the dog could be taken along.

A quiet place, a clean, nice place to stay. The reception was very friendly and there was a 15€ restaurant voucher for the restaurant on Platzt. Supermarket and some good fish restaurants nearby (in the harbour). Many places can be reached in 1/2 hour, for example Den Helder or Harlingen to get to the islands. We were completely satisfied, only the WLAN is hardly usable.
