Millers cottage was just like home from home .... Millers cottage was just like home from home Kate and Andy was very friendly Was met by a lovely little hamper plus amazing dog tags invade you lose your pet , which we did on the first day , so to me they went beyond to make sure our break went well Would recommend this place for anyone with dogs

This is a brilliant cottage and Andy who greeted us was spot on.. Had all the facilities you need and want along with the reassurance Andy is on hand if you need him. Donkies are super sweet and were happy to say hello. They were not noisey enough to disturb you they are far enough away not to be a nuisance. Location is great, the road to the local town I wouldn't recommend walking as there is no paths so a car is a must. But it's super peaceful. We would book this again.

The cottage was very good and the basket of goods when we arrived were very good.. Thanks to Kate and Andy for making the stay so pleasurable and warming. Many thanks Dave Manning

The cottage itself was brilliant.. The details that Sykes hold are doing the place an injustice as it’s so much better than the description/photos shown in the listing for Millers cottage. Some updating required on that front I’d say! A well equipped, cosy cottage, with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely relaxing time and would definitely go back.

Poor level of cleanliness and cheap, tacky, dilapidated decor. Tired, scratched and dirty paintwork. Dog hairs under every piece of furniture on every piece of furniture and in every corner. Dirty furnishings and a rug so old and caked in dirt it is unsanitary. Gaudy Decor. Uncomfortable beds. Filthy stairway carpet. A stair gate that is rusty and covered in dirt. Green algae coated windows that's been there for months. Mildew in window frames and shower enclosures. Poorly appointed kitchen equipment comprising of a mismatch of dirty, broken pots and pans, chipped plates and a few assorted pieces of stoneware and oddments of plastic and glass glasswear. The kitchen drawers were dirty and full of broken utensils and oddments of cutlery which were old and not matching. Dangerous, broken saucepans, even some ancient aluminium ones that looked like they were from house clearances. Dog hairs in the kitchen cupboards and sticky greasy tiles and extractor fan. Way too much chlorine in hot tub - very disappointing and unhealthy. Games room, broken gym equipment and sauna covered in cat hairs and cat poo. Such a shame could be a fantastic place to stay if it was run by someone else that cared about their guest's stay and had the right demeanour to run a holiday rental.

This very clean and comfortable cottage is in a scenic, quiet location, not far from all the facilities in Llandysul.. The optional hot tub is an added bonus as was the gym with a dart board and table tennis table. Some marvellous beaches are within easy reach if you wish to head to the coast. Andy the host was very helpful and friendly. Although we saw him every day, we didn't feel that he intruded in our enjoyment of the holiday in any way. Our 3 dogs were made to feel equally as welcome as the humans in the party - not merely tolerated as is the case in many holiday lets. The 'doggy welcome pack' of a ball and chews, towel and holiday dog tags was a very thoughtful touch. The designated dog walk on the property made early morning walkies a pleasure rather than a chore with wonderful views and very friendly horses to meet along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone with the same love of animals that we have and is looking for somewhere without young children running about. I know it maybe a difficult decision only allowing older children but in this case it is perfectly understandable. Nobody has eyes in the back of their heads and this is a working farm with all sorts of temptations for little ones. Thank you Kate and Andy for a brilliant holiday!

We loved all the animals on the site e.. G. Rhea, pigs, chicken, donkeys, goats etc. We welcome little touches like leaving identity tags with details of the owner in case any of our dogs going missing. The owner was able to accommodate our friends when they visited in excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. In miller’s cottage there is a separate balcony and garden furniture as well as a barbecue. The welcome pack was of very high standard. The locality combined stunning coastline and beautiful counside walks.

The host, Andy, was there to welcome us with some top ups for the hamper! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the immediate and surrounding areas. We took full advantage of the location which allowed us to explore many of the towns, villages and coastal coves on the West coast.

We were the only people there.. So we had all the facilities to ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble. Made every effort to make us feel welcome. Welcome pack for us and our dogs. Nice touch.

Stayed here for a week and used as a base for walking and cycling. Good cycle routes nearby and lovely coastal walks not far from cottage. Owners were helpful and friendly with good advice on what to do in the area. We left some belongings in the cottage when we left - not very clever! However, the owners posted the items back to us free of charge, so thank you very much. The local town has a good supermarket and decent take-aways. We enjoyed our stay here and found the relaxed environment and good facilities were what we really needed to help us unwind at the end of a busy year.

Absolutely stunning property and wonderful service from the hosts.. There was a hamper waiting for us in the kitchen with essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter and dishwasher tablets. The cottage itself was clean, tidy and a true home from home. The hot tub was fabulous, just need to bring some flip flops next time for the short walk across the front garden to the hot tub (covered in slate chippings so footwear really is essential). Good WiFi with Netflix on the TV so that you can sign into your Netflix account. Looking forward to staying again.

The suroundings were wonderful, given that we had good weather was a bonus.. We went for a totaly relaxing time with our 2 pooches, which was made easier than other places we have taken then in that there was an enclosed area were we could sit and have a cool beer looking at the amazing view without having to worry about them wondering off. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need and the welcome pack was as it says, very welcome. The owners were on holiday at the time but if we had any questions then Sarah & John were happy to help.

A very comfortable Cottage. The bed was so big, it was amazing and the hot tub was an added great feature. The people were very helpful and friendly and it was great having peace and quiet - the only sound was from the cockerel in the morning.

The property was very good. We had a small gym we could use, so we came home fitter then we went. The hot tub was a bonus as my mum was better with her walking after she had been in it. We had no problems with anything.

My wife, daughter, spaniel and I had the best week away for ages at Millers Cottage. The location is perfect and the cottage itself is really clean, smart and comfortable. We were made really welcome by the owners who even checked if we needed anything from the shops when they went out. I love the Cardigan bay area and would heartily recommend this as a base from which to explore.

We have just had the most magical five days at Happy donkey Hill in the millers cottage. Even though we got a little lost ( 40 miles to my shame! ) and late. The welcome was warm, the cottage amazing, the cleanliness, decor throughout and the kitchen was so well equipped with anything you could need. There was even a log fire ready to be lit in the burner. The hot tubs were spot on with plenty of privacy and still able to look out over the valley or stars. There was a utility room for laundry that was really useful. A free mobile direct to Katie or Andy if we needed anything. When I saw pictures of our accommodation I was impressed only to see when we got there pictures cant do it justice. We were lucky enough to see The stables 2 person cottage before we left and we are hoping to have a week there again in the autumn it was an enchanting cottage and very romantic. The location was spot on and leaflets and booklets of locations and attractions were great to set us off ( for the intrepid out there try a walk to the witches Cauldron a natural blow hole on the coast on the pilgrim trail at Ceirbwr Bay towards Newport Bay ) we were easily accessible to main roads made everything easy. The Sculpture Haven Gardens are a must too. The information for both will be in the cottage. There was such a spiritual feel to the place as soon as we arrived we knew we would return, and it lived up to its name they were really happy little donkeys and even one a few days old, I cant rate the people and accommodation and location highly enough. I would have to say this was our own little Nirvana, thanks to Katie and Andy.
