Lords Leap sits in the first floor of an imaginative barn conversion, located on Graythwaite's Estate in the Lake District National Park. With four bedrooms consisting of two doubles and two twins, the cottage can sleep up to eight people. There's also a bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and a woodburner. Outside, there is off road parking and a shared patio garden with furniture and a BBQ. Hazel Seat sits amongst splendid shared grounds in the midst of the stunning Lake District National Park, with access to a swimming pool, fishing lake and children's play area. Lords Leap is a wonderful holiday home for discovering the many delights of Cumbria.

Area
The picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. Cars are banned from the village, leaving visitors free to wander the wealth of tiny alleyways, thoroughfares, archways and courtyards between the whitewashed 17th century houses. With stunning scenery and numerous attractions within easy touring distance, Hawkshead is in an ideal location at any time of the year.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Sorry, no smoking. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Shops 4 miles, pubs 2 miles. Water from private supply, fed from freshwater lake. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking Graythwaite Adventure in advance. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required.
