Such a lovely find on MySykes. The owner (Mark) could not do enough for us to ensure that our stay was a memorable one. Little Chycoose is located in a lovely rural area outside of Truro, however close enough to get to where you want to go in Cornwall. The property is a mix of old and new and done very well indeed. Their is a sufficient amount of parking space and a large garden area C/W summerhouse. At the heart of the property is the kitchen area which is amazing. Bi-folding doors, an island and a raised mezzanine floor are just done of the lovely features of this room. The property is very spacious, so you can easily escape the noise of children playing to read a book or relax in front of a fire with a glass of something. The living accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms upstairs and another situated separate to the house in what is called the Cow Shed. All were very comfortable, clean and tidy. Little extra touches such as the fresh cream, jam and scones on arrival were lovely. The owner had also provided multi socket leads in each of the bedrooms which came in very handy. Overall our stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend a stay to my other family and friends.

Little Chycoose was a fantastic base to spend a week in Cornwall.. The cottage was spotless, the facilities excellent, and it easily accommodated six of us. It was a great base for days out cycling the old mining trails, walks on the coastal paths, pub lunches and trips further afield. In the evening we were able to spend time in the wonderfully light and spacious kitchen eating and drinking, and then retreat to the cosy lounge to watch TV before bed. The scones with clotted cream and jam when we arrived were especially welcome! I would recommend Little Chycoose to anyone looking for a place to spend a holiday in Cornwall.

We had a really fun time in this house for a family holiday - even in the winter it was light and warm. Very happy to recommend it to dog owners who like a good selection of walks. Also friendly bike hire shop and cafe in local village.

We had a wonderful stay in Little Chycoose for the Christmas period.. The owner was onsite to meet and greet us, which was really helpful in terms of getting to know some of the features of the house. After such a long journey the welcome pack was much appreciated! The house was very warm and cosy when we arrived and the facilities were great, we didn't want for anything! We had friends come and join us on Christmas day, with the wonderful kitchen catering and entertaining a large group was no problem!!

The house was lovely spacious and well equipped -just as it appeared on the web site - and ina very beautiful part of the world.. The stay aas marred by an investation of flies which meant we could not keep open the beautiful sliding doors or the windows. There was an ele tric fly zapper but that was not enough to control the problem. Even sitting outside the summer house proved uncomfortable. Our very nice neighbour told us that he had never known a summer like it and wondered if a newly occupied chicken farm in the vicinity was to blame. This was obviously not the fault of the owners but it did put a blot on the holiday especially as my ausutistic granddaughter is terrified of flying insects and we had problems getting her to come out of her bedroom. The kitchenwas particually beautiful and the piano a much appreciated extra.

Little Chycoose is a wonderful place to stay.. It has ample space - the bedrooms are a good size and there are three bathrooms, which was essential for us. The kitchen is great: it is large and very well equipped. The patio doors mean you have wonderful views of the garden. The area is extremely quiet, which was also a great boon for us. There is room for three cars in the driveway, which was also great. We thought the location might mean it would take us a long time to get to the coast, but in fact it was not a problem at all, as it meant we were ideally located to go either north or south. Holywell, Crantock and Godrevy beaches were our favourites. We would not hesitate to book this property again.
