Lovely cosy cottage with great views of Bradwell Edge from the back of the house.. Great village with pubs and really good Co-op which sold everything we needed. Lovely welcome pack on arrival at the cottage which was much appreciated. Had lots of good walks as the weather was amazing for February.

It was one of the best cottages we have stayed in, and the information folder provided by the owners was excellent.. Everything was lovely though we felt they should have provided more kindling to light the wood burner as we struggled to get it going.

Lees Cottage is a wonderful place to base yourself in the Peaks.. Sheena & Andrew have thought of everything and provided a very comfortable & cosy place to stay. The photograph’s really don’t do this cottage justice. From the wood burning stove to the gift of homemade orange spice cake, wine and fresh flowers, to the wet room to dry all of your walking gear, all of these thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Thank you Sheena & Andrew we loved our stay in Bradwell and Lees cottage.

Lovely, comfortable and welcoming cottage with great hosts, they were clearly there if needed (which we didn't) and equally kept in the background politely.. There were nice touches, wine, cake and flowers on arrival, which after a six hour journey was great. Alas I never mastered the Nespresso coffee machine! Where is George Clooney when you need him? The area is spectacular. Our first time in the Peaks and wont be our last. Like the Lake District but without the water and commercialism.....and more rocks :) Despite so-so weather we got some serious miles in. We look forward to returning and to Lees Cottage.

Comfortable cottage well situated within the village.. It has fabulous views from the kitchen and a lovely garden to sit out in and admire the views. We were on a short break and it was perfect for our needs. We had the king size made up as a twin. We enjoyed having some DVDs to watch and the chilled wine and homemade cake was a lovely touch. Only grumble is the wifi was a bit dodgy, but that's the area. Parking a bit of a challenge.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful area with stunning walks.. Only two very minor criticisms are there was no potato masher in the kitchen and no non-stick frying pan which made fried eggs almost impossible.
Like I said only minor criticism which wouldn’t stop us staying in this lovely cottage again.

Impeccable newly refurbished house, pretty back garden and wonderful peaceful view (I don't think the photo in the advert does it justice), small & friendly village with easily accessible facilities - off the beaten track but still close to beautiful walks & pretty places, and unobtrusive but kind owners who went far beyond what could be expected to help me when I needed it.. Also wonderful to arrive to wine, cake, milk, coffee pods and tea-bags!
The owner is very open to positive suggestions - I would like to see a couple of lap-trays - but a minor point.
I hope to return.
Thank you for a lovely holiday!

The only thing I would suggest (and it is a small point in my mind), would be additional kitchen utensils and if I were staying for longer, might appreciate the avaibility of a washing machine.. Other than that, everything was superb.

A fantastic cottage.. Great to have milk on arrival. The bonus of cake and wine even better. The view from garden terrace was beautiful and the paragliders put on a fab show on day of arrival.
Highly recommend this property. Would only add a couple of hooks on each of bedroom and bathroom doors for clothes/towels.

Lees Cottage was delightful - newly refurbished, lovely decor, very comfortable bed and great shower.. We were very warm even with snow outside as the central heating was excellent and wood burning stove made the cottage very cosy. The owners provided welcoming homemade cake, milk and bottle of wine in fridge, teabags, coffee and even a vase of daffodils.
Bradwell is an excellent location for accessing lots of great walks - Mam Tor, Stanage Edge, Millers Dale for example - and the Monsal Trail cycle route. We would definitely recommend Lees Cottage and look forward to returning.
