This was a last-minute booking as we were celebrating a 40th birthday and our camping plans had to be abandoned due to bad weather.. The house is lovely with amazing views over quintessential English countryside. It was very quiet and peaceful - far from any main road. We were a party of 13 - 6 adults and 7 little people aging from 10 - 3. There was plenty of space for everyone in the large house and round the kitchen table. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms. The beds are all super comfortable. The garden is enclosed and flat, so good for ball games. Lots of ensuites and a luxurious bathroom, a big lounge with plenty seating, and the pool table all helped to make the bad weather not an issue at all. There are a couple of other holiday cottages in the complex but we barely saw them and never heard them. There is also a beehive at the far end of the garden but this wasn't an issue at all. All in all, it was a lovely stay in a beautiful place.
