Located less than half an hour’s drive from Catania (handy for the airport or souvenir shopping), this three-bedroom home is ideal for a sunny getaway. While the décor is a little bold (bright colours paired with period features), we think it adds character. Meanwhile, the terraces offer a shady spot for leisurely lunches or enjoying a barbecue. Or, if you want to dine out, nearby Acireale has plenty of tasty options, including charming seafront trattorias that overlook the Ionian Sea.

*The accommodation is split over the main house, which has a living area, kitchen, and the bedrooms and bathrooms, and a separate taverna with a kitchen, laundry room, and additional bathroom.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's free parking on the driveway.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
