On Italy’s verdant Adriatic coast, this villa is set in the quiet countryside, a short drive from crystalline beaches. There are a handful of beaches to choose from; it’s a seven-minute drive to the long stretch of sand at Marcelli, or perhaps the craggy coves of Numana are more your style, also a seven-minute drive.

The villa itself sits in a small, private complex, with the use of a shared swimming pool for hot days and a private patio and shaded veranda. Inside, you’ve got the classic wooden ceilings of Italian farmhouses and a brick-style floor reminiscent of rustic country villas. A cosy wood-burner awaits in the living room for cooler evenings and bedrooms come with pretty countryside views out the window.
