La Pocetta

Very nice view, but you have to pay separately per day for the heating, you have to mop the floor yourself and vacuum when you leave. The owner also does not speak English so this is not very convenient. I think it is quite expensive for an apartment where you then have to clean everything yourself and where there are additional costs. We had our own bed linen and towels, otherwise there would have been additional costs. Enough that I could buy a new towel set myself…

We spent 12 days here in an excellent location, with our own access to the lake and, depending on the situation, a lot of peace and quiet. Anyone who goes here should know that families with children can live in one of the other apartments and that it can be quite noisy. What Interchalet doesn't tell us is that the access to the house is very narrow (car MAX 220 cm wide). Furthermore, and I think this is unprofessional at Interchalet, the on-site support ONLY speaks Italian. All of this leads to a "3". A "1-2" would be possible

The location is fantastic. We really enjoyed it. There are two things you have to be aware of. The road to the house is very narrow. You should take that into account and not have a car that is too wide. The key handover was super nice and helpful. You just have to know beforehand that the person doesn't understand English or German. But we managed with Google Translate. We will definitely be back.

Very nice holiday complex with a large garden directly on the lake with a barbecue. The only complaint was ants in the kitchen, in the area around the sink and cooker.

Beautiful, spacious apartment with 2 separate bedrooms, direct view of the lake and access to the lake. Large garden to relax or for sporting activities.

The property is exactly as described and was spotlessly clean and K. could not have been more helpful in explaining all the details of the property. The view of lake Lugano is spectacular to wake up to each day and the shared garden area is perfect. The access is a little tight for a large car but ok once you are used to it. We will definitely return as both La Pocetta and Osteno village are true gems on the Italian part of the lake.

We had ground floor apartment it was very close to the lake, we could throw bread to the wildlife in the lake from the balcony. it was easy to go swimming direct from the house. There were plenty of sun chairs loungers and tables to use. It was very quiet. The downsides there is a hill between the house and the village centre a shop a bar and a bar/good restaurant. If you do not have a car it is not easy with the local buses but worth the effort.
