Kate's Cottage, a detached bungalow, comprises a kitchen, utility, and a living/dining room with sofa bed. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and two TVs. The bedrooms consist of a double, and a single with en-suite cloakroom, serviced by a shower room and one sofa bed. Outside, there is an enclosed rear gravelled area, and a shared lawn to the front, along with off-road parking for four cars. Within 2.4 miles, you will find a shop and pub. Please note, this property is pet-free and non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Bring your loved ones to make memories at Kate’s Cottage. Note: Property is situated opposite owner’s home. Note: Sofa bed in living/dining room can sleep one additional guest, sleeping four in total.

Ballintubber is a small, rural village settled within County Mayo known for its 13th century, Ballintubber Abbey. This quaint community is set again the backdrop of the Partry Mountains, an ideal location for avid walkers looking for a countryside ramble. If you fancy a break from cooking there is Corley's Bar to enjoy home-cooked meals and local ales and when you're running low on the essentials there is a petrol station and convenience store. Just outside the village is Lough Carra, the perfect place for a gentle stroll and a picnic and Moore Hall, which offers a rich woodland for exploring. A scenic car journey will lead you to the stately Georgian home of Westport House and the lovely Saleen Lake. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, then Castlebar is the perfect place for you. With the Mayo Peace Park and the Castlebar Greenway, you can take a leisurely stroll or have a picnic in the park. If you're looking for a bite to eat, Rua Cafe and Delicatessen has a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and pastries. For a more formal dining experience, House of Plates is a must-try. With a wide variety of restaurants and bars, you're sure to find the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring.
