April 2019
We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage.. The owner Sharron was extremely helpful and helped us when we run out of food, by picking up stuff from the supermarket when we run out as we did not hire a car, we relied on taxis for this holiday. The Cottage overlooks beautiful countryside with wonderful views over the lake and we spent hours on the veranda looking over the lake. The house itself is very spacious with a very large kitchen diner and a separate front room so the 6 of us had separate spaces when we needed to separate. Sharron the owner was very helpful in putting on the heating on early for us when we felt a bit chilly one evening. She gave us advice about local buses and places of interest and helped organise a taxi minibus to take us all around to the various tourist attractions. It was also great to chat to her son Mark and we enjoyed having their dog greet us whenever we came back to the cottage. Those who stay in the Cottage should probably hire a car because the nearest town is Movile which has shops and a supermarket and please be aware that the roads are countryside roads so there are no pavements to walk on and the speeds are 80 km. We would recommend the Cottage as a beautiful place to stay with all the amenities needed, it was spacious and clean and the owner was on hand with just a phone call away to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you very much Sharron for being an excellent host.

The house was excellent and was well furnished, we wanted for nothing, the views from each room of Loch Foyle were fantastic and it was a treat to have this view every day.. The owners Sharron and Seamus were very helpful and supportive. Would highly recommend this property to everyone, it definately recharged our batteries.

This is a great house in a good location with lovely views across Loch Foyle.. Sharron met us and took us to the property, which might have been quite difficult to find otherwise, but was easy to find afterwards. The property was really clean and well supplied, even including a drawer full of teabags, coffee, and biscuits! It was lovely to sit with breakfast and look out over the sea. I can't wait to return when the weather is warmer to sit out on the decking!

We would like to thank sharron and seamus for all their help and kindness going well above and more for getting things sorted for us.. It was very much appreciated. Little things like sharron taking time to talk to us all in the shop that she works in. There house was well laid out and suitable for all ages. And the views were stunning from very window like sitting eating dinner and watching all the ships going past was amazing as our 8 year old said. We had 12 amazing nights at this beautiful hoilday home in redcastle co donegal. On the morning when we had to head back home sharron and seamus met us to say goodbye. But before we left sharron gave our 8 year old son who suffers with seizures and has autism a pack of large playing cards just like the ones in the game show play your cards right at he had been playing with that he had found among all the toys at the holiday home it was like u had given this young boy a million pounds .we would just like to thank you's once again . Kind regards from . Colm_Louise_Cailum and Caiden Graffin

The owners, Sharon and Seamus, were very generous and friendly and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed, spacious and roomy enough for two adults with four children and two grandparents, with views from every window to die for, in a beautiful part of Donegal that is well worth a visit, with speedy access to the entire Inishowen Peninsula without any long journeys and on roads much better than the rubble pit pot holes of Fermanagh.. Highly recommend. Everyone had a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the friendliest part on Donegal.
