"Ard na Mara" is a detached three-bedroom bungalow with magnificent mountain views. It is an ideal base to explore the renowned Wild Atlantic Way. The property is spacious and ideal for families of all ages. The house is located in Meenagowna, Burtonport and near to Dungloe, Kincasslagh, Carrickfin Airport, Aranmore Island and Glenveagh National Park. Cruit Island Golf Club, Mount Errigal, sea angling and Rosses angling are also nearby. The flexible accommodation at "Ard na Mara" can cater for 6 people and up to 8 if needed. Two double rooms are on the ground floor with one double room having a double and single bed. The dining room is on ground level. A third double bedroom is upstairs with one double and one single bed. There are steep steps to this bedroom.The bathroom with shower enclosure is located on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels are supplied free. Travel cot and high chair available.
The property was modernised in 2003 to a high standard. The living room is comfortable with open fire and turf is available. It is a perfect place to relax after a day's sight seeing. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with an ample supply of crockery, plates, pots and pans, cutlery, juicer and blender. An electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave are provided. There is a conveniently placed clothes line at the side of the house for drying clothes. The house has an immersion heater and oil central heating is free for those chilly evenings. An additional charge is made for electricity. The house is also equipped with fire alarm, blanket, and extinguisher.

There are plenty of beaches located around the area ideal for walking or for deep sea diving. Burtonport is a beautiful fishing port with an active community centre. The "Lobster Pot" restaurant is renowned for its warm and friendly atmosphere and a mouth watering variety of seafood. The scenic island of Arranmore is located by ferry from Burtonport and fishing trips and excursions to surrounding islands can be arranged locally.
