The "farm track" needs work.. ..i expected rough terrain but that was an equivalent to a free rally experience. Parts actually scrapped the underneath of our cars narrowly escaping damage. This is the only thing stopping us from booking again

This was a lovely comfy cottage in a quiet location with only the noise of owls hooting at night.. It had everything we needed apart from a corkscrew(!) and only 7 clothes pegs but we could live with that. The owner Carol was so helpful even though she was on holiday herself. The long and bumpy track to the farm is tricky but we loved watching for the bird of prey (buzzard?) on the telegraph poles as we passed each day.

This cottage is a little hideaway from any noise or people, it's a great location for getting about and especially for crantock beack/hollywell bay.. Just one note the road to the cottage is a little bumpy so I wouldn't recommend a sports car to use. The hosts are very amenable and friendly we enjoyed our time there...

Such a relaxing holiday.. Our cottage is situated in a beautiful and tranquil area, yet close enough to all the usual activities that our children hope for...beach, sea, surf and some amazing pubs and restaurants nearby. We most definitely recommend Honeycrock and booking through Sykes Cottages ensured the whole process was free of any stress too!

Our hosts and the property were fabulous.. We had such a lovely and memorable holiday, which was mainly due to the quality and location of Honeycrock Cottage. We would recommend to anyone and would love to return for future holidays.

It is a lovely cottage in a great countryside location with friendly conscientious owners.. Beds were comfortable and facilities provided were very good. Excellent for young children to enjoy a small farm environment with animals etc. Also excellent for walkers like us as various beaches can be accessed with a 2-3 mile walk over lovely countryside and well maintained walking paths. We only used the car 3 times in the week. The nearest shops etc are a mile or more away so food planning etc is needed, and a trip to the pub is best combined with a nice walk. We were lucky with weather and went out each day but if it had been bad we would have been happy to enjoy the cottage more. Very glad we did not book the modern chalet on a caravan site that we were considering.

Cottage had everything we needed and was in a good location near to Crantock and Newquay but nice to be tucked out of the way of all the traffic etc on the farm.. Carol and Peter who own the farm and two cottages are very welcoming and there to help if needed. Many Thanks to them both

Honeycrock was one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in. The quaint and picturesque surroundings made for a beautiful setting, which combined with delightful weather gave us a holiday to remember. The hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Also In terms of cleanliness and hygiene the cottage was faultless. I would therefore recommend this holiday cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break.

We received a warm welcome which was extended to a pleasant note in the hall, six new laid eggs and some splendid scones and jam to tuck into! The level of cleanliness throughout the cottage, upstairs and downstairs, equalled anything we had found in our extensive travels to many parts of the world where we have enjoyed some exceptional quality accommodation. There was a 'wholesomeness' that immediately gave us the feel good factor and seemed to guarantee this holiday as being a stunning success from the outset. We slept soundly listening to the silence. This is the first ever property where we simply enjoyed every minute and would love to revisit in the near future. We would thoroughly recommend Honeycrock to anyone seeking something special!!

It was spotless very well equipped. It was a little off the beaten track but was such an ideal place to chill and was so relaxing. The hospitality was excellent with a little welcome pack of cream tea, clotted cream, scones, tea, coffee and 6 freshly laid eggs from their chickens. It was only 5 minutes away from some beautiful beaches, Crantock, Fistral and Holywell to name but a few. I would highly recommend this cottage. Only wished we had gone for 2 weeks and not 1.

Total peace and tranquillity of the cottage, which was exceptionally well equipped. The owners went one step more on every level; from a beautifully home made cream tea, eggs from their own hens, a vase of roses from the garden in the lounge; absolutely nothing was overlooked - games puzzles, books in abundance; everything was just perfect. Superbly maintained!
