Car parking was supposed to have been provided.. It turned out that the "allocated space" was over 200 yards from the apartment and it was VERY tight (with a ford fiesta), plus you had to manoeuvre into it from the main road through Boscastle with one side being a blind bend. My husband is very good at parking but having knocked his wing mirror twice, he gave up using the space and used the public car park, which was chargeable from 10 am to 5 pm.
To unload our car when we arrived, we were told we could use the double yellows outside the property, but this was taken with another vehicle so we were not able to do so.
There was supposed to have been a garden - there wasn't. There was a small courtyard with planters at the front of the property, but this was for access to the whole building. The gate from this courtyard was straight out onto a main road, without pavement, so it was not safe for our daughter.
The lounge from the property is partly below the level of the road, so you feel that you are in a basement. Immediately outside the window there was a cafe, so you felt that you needed to have the blind down the whole time to have some privacy. Both bedrooms overlooked the main road so we felt that we had no privacy and had to keep the blinds drawn.
