Surfside, on the outskirts of Marazion - Cornwall’s oldest chartered town - is a delightful, purpose built holiday home close to Penzance. Marazion is home to two sandy beaches, many good food pubs, shops, galleries and an antiques emporium. Sleeping up to four guests, there are two calming and stylish bedrooms and a family bathroom, a modern and uncluttered interior that is open plan with comfy leather sofas, a modern kitchen and dining table. Outside is a patio area and designated parking within landscaped grounds. This is an ideal choice of holiday home for families and friends alike who will really appreciate the close proximity to the ocean mere moments away. Note: This group of properties are situated 35m from the Penzance to Redruth railway line.

Open plan living space with modern kitchen, dining table, leather sofas and 32” TV. Double Bedroom and twin bedroom. Modern white bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC Central heating throughout.

Area
Marazion in Mounts Bay  is a buzzing seaside community with a large stretch of beautiful golden beach for sandcastles, swims and boating adventures. Enjoy the restaurants, galleries and coffee houses. St Michael's Mount is the iconic part time isle reached via a cobbled causeway at low tide or ferry jaunt at high water.

Have been visiting Surfside for many years because we are able to share our holiday with our family who stay in a number of the other bungalows.. ..This is a unique place and we have watched the standard go down over the years as the bungalows age. This year Jane the owner has installed new things which has made things nicer but the bathrooms are very tired and need a bit of updating...wrong seat on toilet, grouting black, shower takes ages to adjust the heat of the water flow. The furnishings have been improved but our friends the ants visit us every year, a spray is provided which works for a short while. May I say that the gardener works very hard and makes the grounds look lovely, he also helps if you have any problems.

Fabulous location and a lovely property, this was our fifth visit to the location.. The one area which could be improved was the windows. During our week, Storm Erik hit and the amount of breeze coming through the bedroom windows was considerable. Providing unintended air conditioning! Otherwise a perfect location and we love it x

The bungalow is lovely , fabulous location , right by beach , close to Many places to visit, easy parking.. Disappointed in furniture coffee tables shabby and need replacing , toilet seat broke and wood split , this is a shame , this ikea tables are very cheap and should be replaced regularly. Toilet seat is inexcusable too , considering this is a cluster of properties with same maintenance and owners, the amount of revenue earned over the season should be put back into keeping the properties to a standard .

I would like to thank Jane for a wonderful week at her property in November 2018 I purely use this property for my pet labrador this is my second time I have had this place for my dog she is so familiar with this she thinks she is at home every think in the area is so convenient for me I normally travel the world but now it's time for me to spend time with my dog as she is getting older now.. I like the comment on Mrs Diggett who left feedback what a load of rubbish all the lights work at this property and if one would look hard enough there were spare lightbulbs under the kitchen sink once again I'd like to thank Jane for a wonderful time and I will see you again in the New Year sometime kind regards Andy and megan who is the labradors name Mr Monks

Some lightbulbs missing or lights not working - no side lights at all in one bedroom.. No tin opener. Generally, the facilities were good though. Excellent location and extremely clean. Just a little more attention to detail would have received a higher score.

The location was second to none, easy access to the coast path, beautiful views all the way round the bay,We had a problem with our bed, mentioned it to one of the staff, there was another base and a brand new mattress fitted the same day.. Jane kept us updated throughout the day. Thank you Sykes for a lovely holiday. Regards phil

We have been coming to these cottages for the past few years and love it here.. we still miss the old on site caretakers which added that personal touch to the holiday but I suppose life moves on. The only criticism I have is the fact that there are no recycling facilities available.
