Visit the Summerland Sjælland, the Bonbon Land and Korsør at the foot of the great bridge over the Belt. Experience the unique atmosphere in Odsherred which is hardly found anywhere else in Denmark. It is surrounded by the Isefjord, the Kattekat and the Bay of Sejerø whose water reflects the sunlight. The small harbour Rørvig has a fish smoke house and a ferry sails from here to Hundested from where you can reach Copenhagen in no time. You can get a feel of the geological park in the glacial headlands of Odsherred. Along the grave mound street you can find graves and tombs that date back to the stone age and bronze age. There are 300 year old remains of the forest village of Ulkerup and the Hempel Glass Museum in this region. A replica of the sun chariot found in the moors of Trundholm moses is placed in Odsherred Museum. You can take a look at the Lommesten rocks as well as the castle of Naesholm Borg located on a small island in lake Nygård Sø and situated between Hojby and Nykobing Sjælland. In Odsherred, you can find a nature school where you learn to catch sea trout, go on butterfly safaris, take expeditions through forest and explore the forest with troll and fox trips.
