There are too many bad things to say about this property, I wouldn't know where to start. The front door is a Patio door which does NOT LOCK at all. We had many sleepless nights as felt uneasy, plus not sure what would be left when we came back from days out. You are not allowed to leave the heating on at night (electric fire and a plug in radiator)j we were FREEZING in bed at night. There is a flue in the front room, possibly from a log burner that was previously there, it is completely open and the wind howls down it, very cold and very noisy - we ended up having to stuff a jumper up it and tie it on with a belt to try and stop the noise and wind. The bedroom is in the main room, partitioned off with a curtain, there is a room at the back of the property which the fridge and microwave are in - surely (with heating) this would be an ideal bedroom? This would give more room for another sofa and a proper dining table/chairs in the living area. The 'Dining table' is a piece of wood which folds down from the wall which is wobbly with 2 stools. The back door in the back room does not unlock or open therefore there is NO FIRE ESCAPE if there was an issue at the front of the accommodation. There is no private garden for dogs if you take them, the owner has a jack russell which does NOT like dogs at all, it also has free run of the place and comes up to the door barking and scratching, if the door was open it would come in, You cannot therefore leave the door open or leave your dog tied up outside. It came after our dog and was snarling and barking at the door trying to get in. You are expected to turn the gas pilot light off each time you go out, water the plants and take the bins out down the drive for the dustbin men. We had a couple of power cuts whilst there one lasted for over 12 hours overnight, we had to sleep fully clothed. The owner was away. I have since read reviews on this place and they all say the same, with nothing being done. This is the second time I have written a review and for some reason it is not being published! All I want is a FULL REFUND.

It’s a great little base for exploring Cornwall from.. Really well located. Close to local beaches and town. Supermarket close by etc. There seemed to be a steady stream of spiders and woodlice visiting throughout the week. I don’t think that it’s to do with the cleanliness of the place but you do need to be aware you may have a few ‘visitors’ during your stay. I was unable to use the oven or grill at all for the duration of the week because I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on and couldn’t find any instructions. It may be useful to include some in the guest handbook? I had to make do with microwave and hob meals. Other than that, I found it peaceful and cosy as a base. The bed is extremely comfortable and I slept well the whole week. I would definitely book again.

The studio is ideally situated to visit many beautiful places.. Really nice and comfortable studio down a quiet farm track. Peaceful and relaxing. There to greet us were scones, jam and clotted cream along with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Lovely after a long journey. Owner made sure we had everything we needed. Dog friendly, lovely little dog from next door came to say hello. Would definitey visit again and recommend.

Lots of woodlice did leave some as proof.. As l read the reviews from prevoius people. Owners were offhand as when l met yhem l was told to keep my dog under control. It was sat in my car and thier dog jumping up . Should be details of how to use cooker. And where fridge is, you do not expect to go through a locked door to search for one. Welcome pack is just full of thing you should not do . Not welcoming. Plug extention cable has four plugs in it. But then welcome pack says you cannot have heating on overnight but maybe plugs should have seperate sockets then this would be possible. Overall very poor for a established holiday company.

A small but cosy cottage.. Great location across a major tourist route. Good value for money

We arrived at the studio to cobwebs and spiders everywhere, the smell inside the cottage was disgusting.. There clearly was a drainage issue as when we flushed the toilet, put the washing machine on or did the dishes the smell was repulsive! I had to go to the local shop to get cleaning supplies and air fresheners to put my mind at ease. The whole place unfortunately needs a complete revamp and starting again! The only good thing about it was the very comfy bed and pillows. It was cosy enough but I would suggest getting rid of the carpet for a start certainly in a dog friendly cottage or a deep clean at least! I did try and say something at the time but didn’t really get much back

Toilet not working owner made no effort to get it fixed in fact looking in their comments book it has been broken for months loads of pages torn out of this book so I think they tear out any bad comments.. old TV Arial hanging down over window mind you the view out was of the solar farm not very nice The outside was just a gravel yard you did not want to sit out side and eat even though the weather was good The fridge was located in a half converted garage which was not very convenient . No storage for food in the kitchen.

I used the fold up bed, and it had seen better days, and renewing the mattress would be good idea .. On arrival at 2.30pm the studio had not been cleaned, but they arrived about 3pm, This did not spoil the holiday though, it was a great place to stay, and would certainly go back again.

The Studio was in a great place near the shops so did not have to go far and there were nice views from the garden. We want to go back there next year so that must say a lot. Thanks for a very nice holiday.

Set in a quiet location well within reach of beach and local tourist spots. Padstow harbour was beautiful in the sun and the locals are very dog friendly and welcoming, Rock Beach is fantastic with Padstow a short and cheap ferry ride away. This studio is one of the best we have stayed in and we will be returning next year.

There were spacious rooms with plenty of storage in the fitted wardrobe. It was very well decorated, with a relaxing, homely feel. The accommodation is of an excellent standard and very well located. It made a perfect weeks holiday in Cornwall.
