Had a fantastic weekend away here in winter. It was such a cozy and relaxing place to stay when the weather was a bit colder. Great living space for cooking and spending time with family and friends. Easily located for shops and pubs to spend the afternoon at. Nearby lots of great locations for long walks with amazing scenery and wildlife to be seen. I will definitely come back and stay here!

We had the best girls long weekend staying at the Shieling! Walking distance from shops and pubs but feels remote and a proper getaway. Lovely quiet location with views out to the hills. We visited Laggan, only a short drive away, which was amazing for beautiful walks and lots of stags. Gorgeous cafe on the way in too. Thanks for a fab stay!

Stayed for 7 nights - great area and superb location. Cottage has a fantastic stove, well equipped kitchen and very comfy beds. Outside area was great for the kids, and lots of routes around for walking and to explore. First time staying up in Scotland and will look to book again, great cottage and town.
