Area
Beer is a charming fishing village in south Devon, not far from Seaton. The shingle beach is well protected by the limestone cliffs on three sides, and it was previously rich smuggling territory, with additional contraband buried in the caves that are today visited by tourists. Beer is a small village in Devon, England, notable for its location on the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its winding alleys lined with lovely stone houses and cottages built at varying elevations up the steep valley slopes. Beer has a variety of stores, cafes, restaurants, and bars to choose from, and the nearby Pecorama Gardens, set on a hill above Lyme Bay, are a major tourist attraction. The Beer Heights Light Railway, an indoor model railway show, and a children's play area may all be found at Pecorama. Beer, a little fishing village in Devon, is a wonderful spot to spend some time.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
