Area
Near Seaton in south Devon, you'll find the charming fishing village of Beer. Because of its location between two limestone cliffs, the shingle beach was originally a prime area for smuggling, and the neighbouring caverns, which are today visited by tourists, once housed valuable contraband. Beer is a small village in Devon, England, notable for its location on the Jurassic Coast, a length of coastline that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its winding lanes lined with attractive stone houses and cottages built at varying elevations of the steep valley sides. Beer has a variety of stores, cafes, restaurants, and bars to choose from, and the nearby Pecorama Gardens, set on a hill with a view of Lyme Bay, are a major tourist attraction. There is a children's play area and an inside model train exhibit for adults and kids alike at Pecorama's Beer Heights Light Railway. A nice destination to visit and stay is the picturesque fishing village of Beer in Devon.
