The Old Stable is a semi-detached single-storey cottage on the Trethin Estate near Camelford. The cottage has a double and a twin room, a shower room and an open plan living area with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for one car, a front garden area and shared use of the grounds including a recreation field and a games room. The Old Stable is ideally placed for the coast of North Cornwall, offering surfing and good walking, as well as the amenities of Camelford, and days out at Tintagel, Padstow, Newquay Zoo and more.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x 2'6" twin (more suitable for children). Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Shared external utility. Shared external games room with pool table, table football and table tennis.

Camelford is a bustling market town in Cornwall. From here it is easy to discover the many sandy coves, coastal landscapes, tiny villages, quaint pubs and yummy tea rooms which dot the region, along with renowned attractions such as The Eden Project.

The cottage was really beautiful and comfortable.. I think it could have been a bit cleaner especially in light of the Covid pandemic, but that isn't a reflection on the actual cottage itself which I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

This holiday let is exactly as described.. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful setting and kept spotlessly clean. The country lane that leads you to the cottage is very narrow and we had near misses twice by speeding locals coming round bends, but seeing chipmunks playing in the road soon gets you to relax again. This cottage has only 2 drawbacks for me.... it is not suitable for wheelchair bound people as there are 3 steps that lead you up to the front door and no hand rail to aid you. Otherwise it was perfect for us and just what the doctor ordered. The owner even left us milk and a bottle of wine. We sat in the beautiful surroundings and drank the wine before we unpacked. Bliss.

Lots of little extras in the cottage but no breadbin and no spare cupboard space for any groceries.. Very peaceful with lovely gardens. Plenty of footpaths for walkers and close to many coastal resorts.

Old stable was in a lovely quite place.. The former farm was wonderful. There was everything we had expected. Nevertheless the appartment was smaller than expected but this was comensated by the wonderful environment. We could watch King fishers, rats, birds and weasels playing. Near the house were lovely flowers like roses and hydrangeas, even there was an eucalyptus tree. We could walk a lot. Bodminmoor was quite near. Beside the place there was a pond with wonderful flowers, birds and fruit trees. We called it the"magic place" because you could nearly feel the presence of fairies. Thanks a lot. We had really a good time there.

Never booked a cottage before so although the cottage looked nice on the web site we were still apprehensive after a long drive what we would find however when we opened the door the cottage more than matched the information provided on the web site ! ! - it was lovely. The bottle of wine and milk left for us when we arrived was again a nice touch !! The location was fine too Bude was a twenty minute drive away it was also handy for the locations of Port Isaac - Tintagil & Bos-castle all only a 15 minute drive away. The village of Camelford was also nice with a nice pub call the Masons to eat at as well as a very good Fish n Chip shop called peckish !!

We were particularly impressed by the wonderful sense of peace surrounding the area. It was just incredible to wake up to silence as well as the sunshine we were blessed with every day. A perfect place to stay for so many interesting and lovely places. It is always a good feeling when you could happily do it all over again.
