After a day exploring the sights of Derbyshire, the utility / drying room, conveniently located in the rear courtyard offers space to freshen up your clothes with a washing machine, tumble dryer and airer. A charming little market town with a lovely rural feel and a nice assortment of stores, restaurants, and taverns, as well as regular farmers' markets. In the town centre, there is a historic 17th century market hall, as well as a modern recreational centre with a swimming pool. Bakewell is centrally located inside the Peak District National Park, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Alton Towers, Britain's greatest theme park, is only a short drive away, and both the craggy Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak are easily accessible.
