Wonderful cottage - so spacious, beautiful grounds and great games room and pool table The sofas in the living area - were not too comfortable to sit on though - you sink into the cushion and as it is deep going back, it can be tricky to pull yourself off (esp for elderly).. There was also only 1 frying pan in the kitchen that could be used on the hob - due to the type it was.

The welcome pack of goodies was a delightful surprise on our arrival, including a wonderful cake and flapjack which were were delicious.. We were a family of 6 adults, 2 children, a toddler and baby and there was so much space in the house and the children loved running about in the massive garden so much that when we went out on day trips they were very eager to return to the house. The details and pictures do not do the accommodation justice. The lounge is large and comfortable with another smaller library room off it, the kitchen is extremely well equipped to a very high standard, and the dining area very light and spacious. Furnishings throughout the house are very good quality and the beds and linen very comfortable, almost luxurious. The owner has thought of everything to make the holiday let better than a "home from home".

Three families, 11 people plus a dog, stayed at Clealings over Christmas 2018, for the second time.. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found everything to our satisfaction. With five growing children we found that the space in the garden and the playroom were a boon. It is rare to have so much space outside in a rental property. We all agreed that we would like to stay at Clealings at some time in the future.

An excellent venue with plenty of space inside and out.. ideal for friend or family to get together. We met the owner of the property who had kindly left us an extremely plentiful welcome pack of food essential; the homemade cakes were delicious. We would certainly recommend this property.
