From the wood burning stove with its picturesque, open–brickwork surround to the rustic–style shaker kitchen, this place feels like the dwellings of a gentleman farmer. Natural oak furnishings, doors and floors instantly warm the place up, meanwhile the soothing colour scheme of earthy neutrals and occasional blues creates a sense of calm.

We could spend hours just cosied up by the fire with a pot of tea and a huge slice of cake, but the azure depths of the heated outdoor pool are enough to tempt even the most indoorsy types to venture into the garden. Enwreathed by a backdrop of succulent green saplings, when the sun is shining, you couldn’t wish for a more beautiful spot to soak up the rays.
