The property sleeps two people, with one step up to the bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower cubicle, and open plan living area with wood burning stove, contemporary kitchen and one step up to the dining area. The large garden is beautiful with lawn and patio with garden furniture and barbecue, pond and stream, with off road parking for 2 cars and two steps up to entrance of the property. Within 7 miles of Falmouth resort, Pond Cottage is a super venue for couples seeking a restful holiday.

Stithians has a small Post Office/store, a fish and chip shop and a pub which serves good food. When you wish to explore there are many country walks, one of which will take you to Stithians Lake, popular for watersports, angling and birdwatching, where you can sample the local ale and excellent fare at The Golden Lion Inn, within a few miles of the bustling maritime resort of Falmouth.

Pond cottage was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay and contributed to a wonderful holiday.. The outside photographs of views from the property were a little deceiving, but the cottage was better than we expected.

A lovely Cottage in a fabulous location, rural yet very close to "proper" roads and lots of areas of interest.. Very peaceful, just lovely and everything has been thought of for the comfort of guests. The lovely cream tea set the scene and all was uphill from there on. Not only was the cottage lovely but the gardens too, with a stream running along the side. Harry the cat was a character, he used to call every morning. A lovely holiday, thank you all.

It was great being welcomed on our arrival by the family and a cream tea, flowers etc ready to eat.. Delicious. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and, even though we had a lot of rain during our stay, we still enjoyed it immensely. We had everything we could possibly need as Mr and Mrs Newman had thought to make th- e cottage 'home from home' and more besides. We would have liked to book June, which was available before we left home, but we are now trying to sort another date as we love it so much. Thank you Claire, James, Poppy and Oliver - it was great meeting you and look forward to staying with you again soon.

We had a wonderful week in Pond Cottage.. The cottage itself was extremely clean and well appointed. All furnishings were of a high standard as were the kitchen utensils. The bed was so so comfortable and together with the peaceful location ensured we had a good nights sleep. Our host and hostess were friendly and helpful. The location was very good as it was close to our favourite places on the Lizard. The grounds were well kept and provided a lovely place to sit or walk round the lake. We would highly recommend.
