The fishing village of Polperro is just a mile away and can be reached by a country walk over the owner s land and down a lane. Here, visitors will find a tidal sea pool, quirky independent shops, a choice of eateries and a small beach. A bigger beach can be found in the nearby harbour town of Looe, a gently sloping stretch of sand with good bathing conditions. From Looe, visitors may like to take a boat out to the nearby Looe Island, a marine nature reserve with a resident seal colony. On entering this stylish barn conversion you will find a spacious hallway, a perfect space for kicking off those muddy boats and hanging coats. A few steps down lead you to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner a fantastic space with exposed beams and high vaulted ceiling perfect for socialising and cooking up a feast after a long day exploring the area. The lounge end of the room also has French doors leading to the enclosed garden along with a TV, DVD, Freeview, gas fire and piano. The dining area comfortably seats four while the kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, 1 double with TV and 1 galleried twin. An extra single bed can be provided on request. The family bathroom has a mixer shower over bath heated towel rail and WC. Outside of the property you have a private enclosed lawned area with garden furniture and BBQ. Along with this is a lawn area with picnic tables shared with the other properties. Outdoor games and play facilities are also shared with the other cottages in the complex kids will love playing on the swings and see saw, while all the family can enjoy use of the tennis, badminton and football nets. Guests are also free to explore the surrounding farmland owned by the cottage owners, where there is a wildlife pond to enjoy, as well as fish, ducks and chickens to visit.
