Phoenix Cottage is a delightful barn conversion with accommodation all on one level, situated within 8 acres of private grounds close to the city of Truro. The property sleeps two adults and has one double bedroom and one bathroom. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Enclosed deck for alfresco dining. Within a countryside setting and yet close to vibrancy of Truro, Phoenix Cottage is an excellent choice for couples.

All ground floor. One bedroom: 1 x king-size with TV. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, sitting area and dining area.

Area
Truro sits at the head of the Truro/Fal River and is brimming with Georgian architecture. Galleries, museums and the fabulous cathedral, an array of shops, pub/restaurants and evening entertainment are all yours to enjoy. The Cornish coast is full of cliff top walks and rugged coastline with hidden coves and wide stretches of golden sands. A walking, cycling and touring delight.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

We have not long returned from our staycation in Cornwall.Pheonix Cottage was an excellent location to visit all areas of Cornwall. the cottage was just what we needed,it was excellently equiped,with excellent attention to detail, everythig had been thought of. Owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the site was very well kept and was very quiet.

We have just spent a week in this spectacular property. Spotless, well equipped, light, airy and located well - easy access to pretty much anywhere in Cornwall. The owners of the property have spared no expense in making this property (and others on their land) into something special .... homely yet that feeling of being away somewhere lovely. We had our own garden which led into a huge secure field for letting the dog play, and the house had a doggy toy box full of toys, balls abs treats. A cream tea upon arrival for us too ... and the owner could not have made us more welcome. Everything you could want or need for your stay has been thought about and provided, and their Covid protocols were also bang on. I cannot speak highly enough of this little slice of paradise - other than to say that I know I will go back there at some point - it’s amazing.

What can I say ❤️ Had the best week ever in Phoenix Cottage. One of those places you get there and you just don’t want to leave. From the gorgeous setting to the beautiful cottage to the home from home comforts. I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Cornwall. Then the hosts, Maureen was one of the loveliest, kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met. Even more happy and smiley than me lol John her husband always had a smile whenever you seen him. Thank you so much for our stay, certainly one of those places you’d always want to return to. Fifi, Hugo and Gizzy say thanks too for all the lovely treats you gave them, so dog friendly xxx

A beautiful one-bedroom cottage on a farm style setting, in a peaceful location. Wonderfully hosted by Maureen and John, such lovely people. We fell on our feet when we found this cottage. Our son lives nearby, so it is the perfect place to have our holiday with dogs while enjoying time with our son. The cottage is decorated in a very relaxing style with everything we need for perfect stay. We cannot wait to go back. Little tip....follow Maureen's direction, do not rely on a tomtom - it gets lost!

Booking this holiday was a spur of the moment.. Phoenix is everything and more than we could have hoped for. The cottage is delightful. The hosts, Maureen and John, did everything they could to make our stay a pleasure. The little touches (cream tea on arrival, chocolates on the bed) just made it more special. The dogs were made welcome and they loved the meadows that they could run in. All set in a beautiful location. It was a magic find and we will be back.

We got exactly what we expected - a nice little cottage in a secluded location although we had not realised that there was virtually no ground around the cottage for our use.. There is a small decking area and a bench but little else. The owner is very friendly and keen to assist in whatever way is necessary to ensure we had a good holiday. She had filled her cottage with every conceivable gadget and tool that we might want while on holiday - and some that we could never have expected in a million years. They were all there somewhere. A heart of gold.

A lovely small cottage that has everything including two wonderful hosts, Maureen & John.. We left feeling we had made two new friends. Hope to return at some stage in the future as the cottage is in a very handy location for getting to the main places of interest in Cornwall.

A truly dog friendly property with everything you would ever need.. The cottage is comfy, extremely clean and well placed for travel to north and south coasts. The owners are very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. We have no hesitation in saying we will go back as soon as we can, in fact we can’t wait! We had a fantastic holiday and so did the dog!

Super stay @ Phoenix cottage (Truro) We stayed for the Christmas week @ the Phoenix Cottage owned by Maureen & John.. Check-inn was great Maureen showed and explained everything about the grounds and cottage. Really everything is available in the cottage an oven, dishwasher, washingmachine etc.. The owners had made it very special by decorated the cottage in the Christmas spirit SUPER! They even provided a stuffed turkey and lots of extras for our two dogs. We recieved gifts under the christmastree. Our stay was really, really great and relaxed. The grounds are great for the dogs. Truro is closeby and there is a great supercenter. The cottage is located very Central in Cornwall. Again everything was SUPERgreat and very DogFriendly . Maureen & John thanks for the lovely staying @ your’re cottage!”

We have just spent a week in the lovely Phoenix cottage. Our hosts were amazing and made us feel at home right from the off. Excellent base for exploring with our dog and the cottage was brilliant and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend and will be returning!
