The Cornwall County Show Ground is a short walk away and hosts numerous events throughout the year, from the Royal County Show to horse racing and touring circuses from around the world. The extremely popular destination of Padstow, with its picturesque harbour, is 7 miles from your door, renowned for its selection of Rick Stein s quality fish restaurants. Across the river by ferry is Rock, which is popular for all water sports, and an amazing golf course. The popular tourist destination of Newquay is a short drive down the Atlantic Highway and offers four different beaches including the world class Fistral. Newquay deservedly takes the crown as the surfing capital of Britain; you can also find a number of family orientated beaches along the coast too. Outside the accommodation is a pleasant lawn area and patio with garden furniture. The garden is circled by a stream that meanders past the property. There is also an enclosed paddock available across the road, an ideal play area for accompanying children.
