Fabulous views, dog friendly, large apartment, balconies from the lounge area and bedrooms. I bought a week long parking permit from the pitch and putt kiosk opposite which worked out cheaper. Lovely walks from the door.

We took an Autumn break in Lynmouth staying at Old Lyn Cottage.. We have stayed in Lynton previously at another beautiful cottage but decided to have a change. The accommodation is of a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The location is really quite spectacular with the river trundling down to the sea outside the property. Two magnificent balcony's were used well to fully enjoy the sound of the river and the beautiful views both in the day and at night. We enjoyed some great food in the local pubs and the beautiful Watersmeet walk and café. I would highly recommend this accomodation

Great accommodation , very confortable and spacious.. Very nicely situated in the centre of Lynmouth, close to all amenities. We loved the balcony and spent many a time sitting out there with a glass of wine watching the world go by. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone, a very good base.

Old Lyn Cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped.. The balconies on both levels were a real bonus. John and his wife were both very welcoming and helpful. Located in the centre of the village you are within easy reach of the pubs but the location isn't noisy. The walk to Watersmeet is a must with the reward of a cream tea when you get there. There are plenty of walks in the area of wonderful countryside. Fully recommend. We were there in late June and were able to park in the street outside overnight without problem.

Having visited Lynmouth on many occasions we have never stayed in the Village. The cottage is very central and you have lovely views of the Manor green and harbour from the covered balcony on the first floor so even if its raining you can still sit and watch the world go by. Old Lyn cottage is presented to a high standard with old features, like the Hugh old bath tub to a new fitted kitchen area. Everything and more is there to make a perfect Self catering holiday in a great location.John and his wife were more then helpful and always on hand should you need them.We will defiantly return to Old Lyn Cottage. Thank you
