Property Description

Holiday home
Little House is just superb, located within the Snowdonia National Park you're in easy reach to explore! There is so much to see and do in the area from beaches to mountains and all sorts in between! There's a large lawned area overlooking the picturesque Italianate village of Portmeirion and the sandy estuary, perfect for relaxing on after a day full of adventure. A gentle stroll will take you to the train station where you can travel on the Cambrian Coast Railway that has stops that are well worth a visit. Llandanwg with its lovely beach and cafe and Llanbedr where you can have a pie and a pint in the lovely Victoria Inn are two firm favourites. Or why not hop on a Highland Railway steam train for a scenic and memorable way to experience the surrounding areas? You can also easily access the Ardudwy Way and walk all or part of this scenic upland pathway to Barmouth and there is also the gentler but equally scenic coastal footpath. You will not fail to be captivated by the area from Harlech Castle to the Rhinog Mountains, ancient woodlands to tumbling waterfalls - it's just magic and Little House the perfect place to come home to! There are plenty of opportunities for great days out nearby, including Zip World - with its 100mph zip wire experience and Bounce Below, an underground cave full of giant trampolines! More than two? No problem. The nearby Big House will accommodate up to 7 people.

We had a lovely time in Wales and The Little House definitely added to that experience.. It was so beautiful, both inside and out. The grounds were stunning and we were lucky enough to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. Little House was decorated beautifully and really felt warm and cosy. The wood burner was an added bonus to come back to each night. For me, the sofa was a little uncomfortable but that is personal preference. Other than that, the house was perfect.

The 'Little House' was absolutely gorgeous and set in a beautiful part of Wales.. We had everything we could ask for in the cottage, including a cosy logburner and underfloor heating in the kitchen. Hopefully we will revisit at some point.
