Beautiful town, close to what we wanted to see, enjoyed the conservatory.. Well equipped. Spacious, character cottage. We could feel the age of the place. Stairs would be difficult for a tall person, or a less agile person. Would be a problem parking a large car.

Cottage was clean, homely and comfortable.. There was a slight problem with the conservatory but everyone at the Cornish cottage care were helpful and professional in trying to sort the issue.

This is our 3rd year at Greeb Rocks cottage & we absolutely love it.. The cottage is so cosy & everything is there that you could possibly need. We will be visiting it again in the years to come. The only drawback is there is no recycling facilities at the cottage.

Only booked 6 nights instead of 7, annoyingly told a £30 admin charge would be incurred to change booking to include another night (Thurs 24th).. Would have been better to honour it, but then everybody charges for everything nowadays, so that was my very first impression of Hideaways - could potentially be more accommodating for their valued customer, especially if they are to return. First impressions of cottage are it's beautiful and cosy, a nice touch with clotted cream scones and flowers. Bought anthracite for fire as none provided, left some for next holidaymaker to use. Under beds in main bedroom not cleaned very thoroughly (hairballs and dust). Perhaps it would a good idea to provide something to read, ideas of what to do, vouchers, booklets about Cornwall, decent map/s, eating places etc. A 'Please Mind Your Head' notice would be a good idea on the upstairs balcony and French doors to the conservatory. Underfloor heating in kitchen awesome, the kitchen door lets in quite a draft when it's windy outside - perhaps a heavy curtain across might alleviate this. Views awesome. TV good with Sky, which can drop off sometimes (together with telephone signals which are notoriously bad in Cornwall). Sofas are not the most comfortable for 4 people to relax on. The quaintness and charm of the cottage together with the décor and overall cleanliness and views of sea and St Michael's Mount are the things that I would recommend most, together with the log fire. It's a cosy and welcoming cottage with parking included and it is perfect for a short family break.

Found the cottage difficult to find - poor signage arriving from the west side only visible coming from the east.. Parking difficult when other vehicles parked there. Cottage could do with a good clean and freshen up. Kitchen sink broken around taps and it looks as though it has been like this for some time. All the cupboards in the kitchen full of crockery and pots and pans so the few items we took with us for breakfast we had to leave sitting on the table as nowhere to put them. Large cupboard under the stairs was full of stuff just thrown in and left. Settee in the lounge very uncomfortable and has had its best days some time ago. Little room upstairs for clothes as the chest of drawers in the bedroom was full of linen which only left two very small drawers. Had to lay our clothes on the bunk beds and after a couple of days they started to feel a little damp despite the heaters being on. Doors on the shower make access difficult and the seals on the door were shredded on the bottom. There was what looked like damp on a couple of the walls but not sure if it was or just needing a coat of paint. Would I stay here again most certainly not at the price charged nor would I recommend this to my friends.

What an incredibly amazing little hideaway. From the moment of arrival we found ourselves relaxing into the quieter life in this haven. The cottage was exceptionally clean and everything was thought of, including the delicious cream tea welcome. We’ve had an amazing honeymoon down in Marazion and will definitely be returning to this stunning cottage.
