Entering from the garden side of the Farm Cottage, guests will be greeted with the elegant and homely feel throughout, with soft furnishings and décor giving a sense of continuity throughout. The three bedrooms are spread across two floors, with the ground floor hosting one double, the first a double and twin, with the family bathroom with bath and separate shower. On the ground floor there is a shower room with WC.Outside, the garden has enough room to explore as well as sit in and admire the views which stretch off into the distance toward Bulbarrow Hill. If peace and privacy are high on your list then Droop Farm Cottage is the destination for you. One well behaved pet welcome at a charge of £25 per pet per stay. PLEASE NOTE: The owners only accept Friday to Friday bookings between the 26th July and the end of August.

Droop is a hamlet in Dorset in amongst the hinterland surrounded by unspoilt views of countryside towards Bulbarrow Hill from the end of the very private garden. In the immediate area there are many walks you can go on and enjoy, with the central location of Droop great for getting to other places such as the hilltop town of Shaftesbury and historic Sherbourne.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The owners are friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. The welcome tray including home made chocolate cake was a lovely touch.

Droop Farm was in a lovely situation and had a beautiful garden.. It was deep in the countryside and the lanes were very narrow but nice and quiet. The wildlife was fantastic, lots and lots of diferent birds and lots moths in our moth trap and there were deer and fox and squirrels to be seen in and arround the garden. The owners were very friendly but unobtrusive and were on hand to deal with any problems or question but did not interfer with our holiday. The garden was lovely and private even though it was joined openly to the owners garden. The welcome pack was fantastic and included some lovely marmalade made by the owner herself. We had a great holiday!

The cottage was very nice, however, it would have been helpful to have instructions on how to work the heating system as we had to suss this out for ourselves on the first night as the owners were not available.. Also there was no instructions about rubbish - what could and could be recycled as this does vary from place to place. Nowhere to put dog poo bags and no liners for bins in bathrooms, bedrooms. A bit more information about the cottage and facilities would have been helpful. The welcome basket was much appreciated.
