Property Description

This spacious holiday cottage sleeping up to six people forms part of a farm conversion in the charming restful hamlet of Low Newton. Stroll a few paces from the property, through some dunes, and you arrive at a stunning stretch of silver sand. Much of the area is owned by the National Trust, including the scenic coastal trail south to Cranston via Dunstanburgh Castle, which can be walked in around two hours. Low Newton itself features whitewashed old fisherman s cottages and the famous Ship Inn, which features its own micro brewery and serves delicious fare including fresh lobster from Newton Bay. Windsurf from the beach, play golf at a local course or drive to Alnwick to marvel at its Harry Potter castle. Accommodation in the three bedroom cottage is all on one level and is accessed via the back door, which leads into a large kitchen with everything you need for your break, including a dining table seating up to six, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the cupboard in the hallway. The lounge looks out on to the picturesque dunes, there are two comfortable sofas and a smart TV. There is a large cupboard next to the back door for all your beach accessories. You will love the beach vistas from the two tastefully decorated double bedrooms, while the third cosy bedroom incorporates two single beds. There are two brand new bathrooms, both with walk in showers, toilets and sink. Outside, there is a grassy area to the front of the cottage which is part of the National Trust. There is also a paved area with seating for six to relaxation, enjoy a morning coffee, or simply savour the natural beauty before you. The one allocated parking space provides room for one large or two small vehicles.
