The town's 13th-century castle sits majestically atop a rocky outcropping, dominating the skyline and providing spectacular views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. The two beaches will satisfy water sports enthusiasts, while the nearby Snowdonia National Park will provide plenty of options for walkers and cyclists. Enjoy a stroll along the beaches while watching porpoises frolic in the surf, or unwind in one of the many pubs, restaurants, or tea rooms while sampling the famous Cadwalader's ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion's spectacular Italianate gardens, Porthmadog's Ffestiniog railway, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle, and the Llyn Peninsula's gorgeous beaches and renowned golf courses are all within easy driving distance.
