September 2020
A well equipped cottage, in a run of 4, out in the pleasant countryside.. A good base to explore from. Had everything we needed (mattress a little hard for personal taste but that is nit picking) Beautiful to sit outside and enjoy the view, or cuddle up in front of the log burner. Great communication beforehand A very lovely few days

Was a last minute booking and was just perfect! Could not have planned it that well if tried in advance. Specially want to mention Sue at Sykes who was fantastic to deal with and tried very hard to secure our holiday.Sykes only site we will be visiting from now on and recommending to all. Thank you for helping us build beautiful memories

Lovely cosy accommodation in beautiful countryside although in wet, foggy November we definitely needed the car to get about as walks were out of the question.. Easy access to Bamburgh - castle worth a visit & walk on the sand dunes if it stops raining! Also Wooler, Alnwick and Seahouses. The accommodation was very well equipped with everything you needed and appreciated the delicious biscuits and wine on arrival. There is a lovely sitting out area although at this time of year we didn't get to use it and an abundance of wild life. Would definitely recommend for a restful, peaceful break away.

This was our first experience of cottage rental, and we were absolutely delighted with Bunty's Place.. The wonderful location overlooking beautiful Northumberland countryside, and such a lovely comfy cottage, which was certainly a home from home, was so much more than we had expected. All the fabulous places to visit were within easy reach, enjoying the scenery along the way.

The pictures of Bunty's Place to not do it justice.. The view is stunning. The house is comfortable and practical. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen and one of the best cookers ever found in a holiday cottage.

Het was hier geweldig arriveren.. De verwarming stond aan. Er lag hout etc voor de kachel. Bloemen op tafel. Melk in koelkast. Div theesoorten. Bonbons, . vaatwastabletten, waspoeder etc. Alles was schoon. Zo heerllijk rustig gelegen. 5.00 uur licht in juni. Enkele teflon pannen zijn aan vervanging toe(krassen geeft verhoogde kans op kanker) enkele rvs pannen zou aan te raden zijn. Grotere koelkast zou fijn zijn.

Beautiful cottage and area.. So quiet and scenic. Need to drive about 20 mins to Seahouses and further to Alnwick, but roads incredibly quiet even at half term. So much wildlife around cottage, birds, rabbits, hares, partridge, swallows nesting, a woodpecker on the feeder in the garden and lovely walk up behind into the woods.

This cottage gives you space to move in for your holiday and not cluttered with unnecessary ornaments etc.. An extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage with fabulous views and walks on your doorstep. We had a great break this was one of the best cottages we have stayed in

Was a really lovely 2 bedroom property.. Lovely large back garden, small front but big enough to sit in the sun in front of double doors leading to living room. Good size kitchen and downstairs toilet was a plus. Great peaceful area in wonderful views. Nothing to do unless you enjoy long hikes but was what we wanted in the middle of nowhere. Neighbours were friendly and local pub in Belford about 2 miles away the Blue Bell was nice and friendly and we took turns being a designated driver so could enjoy a couple of pints. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would recommend if you like the freedom away from the Big City.

Utter peace and tranquility despite the strongest winds experienced in that area.. Cosy warm and relaxing. Absolutely love the place.

Hi Just that the postcode does not take you directly to the property, maybe you could make clients aware that it is better to use the written directions given by owner from Chatton.. This would be so much easier on arrival.
Mrs Chrystal
May 2018
Great Cottage with amazing views.. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic area to explore. Would benefit from WiFi as signal for mobile phones minimal in this area. Would recommend anyone to go and stay at Bunty's Place.

Great location with spectacular views.. Very well equipped house and helpful neighbours.
Mrs Alden
July 2017
The cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and welcoming with views of rolling countryside in all directions.. The owner provided a nice welcome pack as well as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, washing powder as they used eco brands in this property. The washing machine was in fact a washer/dryer which was a bonus. Banburgh was a short drive away with it's castle and miles lovely beaches. There are plenty of maps and tourist information in the cottage - the kids enjoyed the narrow gauge railway ride - the engine was also called Bunty! Would highly recommend.
