Instruction in the use of the log burner would be helpful if you've never used one before..

We really needed a quiet time and that’s just what we got.. We chose the cottage because of its rural location, it was so quiet and tranquil. Snowy was lovely kind and helpful when we arrived, we didn’t see him to talk to again until we left but we knew he was there if we needed anything. We really really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

It was really good to go back to the cottage.. Bad weather going down, but the rest of the week was fabulous. Just what we needed, a quiet family break to recharge. Looking forward to going back.

Lovely little cottage, very comfortable in scenic surroundings.. We had a very relaxing holiday with some lovely walks on the doorstop. The Owner lives next door and is a lovely gentleman, not at all intrusive, but helpful and welcoming. We would recommend this as a quiet and restful holiday location.

We had a wonderful time with lovely weather.. The cottage had everything we needed, Snowy the owner was there when we needed him for tips and advice on places to go but was never intrusive. The patio area was a total sun trap and was a perfect spot to enjoy the evening sun after a day of exploring. The area is stunning and plenty of exploring to do. We had our two dogs with us who had a super holiday too, one word of advice if you have an older dog or one with mobility issues would be to take a mat with you as the kitchen floor proved quite slippery for my older dog. We always carry a mat in our vehicle just in case so was not an issue for us. We are so glad to have found this cottage and will definitely return.

This is the best cottage location we have ever experienced, at the foot of a mountain with a stream running through the grounds.. Peaceful and secluded. Amazing wildlife- red kites, buzzards, sky larks, wild ponies. Equally perfect for energetic walks, cycling and and for restful days in the tranquil grounds.
