Bee Hive cottage made an absolutely wonderful base for our recently holiday in Cornwall.. Cosy, well equipped and walking distance to a great pub and amazing tea room. Once the local store opens it’ll be hard to beat. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage which made for a lovely holiday.. We arrived to find the owners had left us tea, coffee, bread and similar items to start us off! My only suggestion would be some instructions above the hob. Slightly too advanced for my technical abilities!

It was our first time in Cornwall and I would recommend this beautiful cottage to everyone.. It was really cozy and we were always delighted to come home after a long walk at the beach. It is suitable for families and dogs. We would surely, without any hesitation, book this wee cottage again to live new adventures in Cornwall :) Family Lanoizelé - November 2018.

Beautiful period cottage in a location that is very accessible for dramatic coastline and lovely quiet sandy beaches.. We have already rebooked for 2019.

A lovely cottage, clean and tidy, a lovely welcoming package of a cream tea, bread, milk and butter which is a nice touch.. The enclosed garden was ideal for the dogs, but needed a little TLC. The bathroom was downstairs which it didn't mention in the description and the stairs from the bedrooms very steep, but the cottage was a quaint old property, we had not problems with anything not working and we really enjoyed our week away here.

Beehive cottage is beautiful and very homely.. The only thing missing is an information pack of the facilities, otherwise perfect.

The cottage was very clean and tidy.. It’s a shame the toilet seat was broken and the garden very overgrown. There were no instructions for anything and no kind of welcome pack which is a shame.

Beehive cottage is absolutely beautiful, it is clean spacious and full of character, beautifully decorated with original features but with all the modern fixtures.. The cottage is set in a lovely location, just 10 minutes drive to sandymouth bay where our daughter was staying. It was well equipped with everything we needed including a nice little cream tea welcome pack. The cottage is surrounded by fields at the back, very peaceful with fabulous views. The size of the cottage is very spacious with ample space. We felt at home the moment we arrived, It was always cosy and warm with a great log fire, that we cosied up to in the evening after a day out walking. Abbey was at the end of the phone if we needed her and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Beehive cottage to anyone wanting to stay in North Cornwall, we go to cornwall four times a year and this is defineltly ranked as one of my favourites. Thanks for having us Abbey.

Fab cottage, had everything we needed for our stay.. Was very inviting and the wood burner was well used due to the cold and wet Cornish weather. Great location with good walking for our pooch a mere 5 minute drive away near Duckpool. There are good walks around immediate location, alas our pooch not so good on the lead! Welcome pack was an added bonus and a lovely touch. Only small issue - would have been better if there were instructions for the heating and the oven - fortunately hubby is an engineer and was able to sort!

Review for Sykes -On a previous booking there was a mess up with the payment.. Sykes took the money from my account however it did not show up as if we had paid on their side. Took a good few hours to sort out and the next day. It was not stress free. However the cottages and owners make up for it. The customer service is very good once you get through to the right people at Sykes. Beehive cottage is beautiful and we highly recommend. We will be returning. Owners make it very easy. Views are outstanding, fire very cosy and dog friendly( enclosed garden) ! Outstanding walks and pubs all over the area. Hartland is a must see. The decor of the cottage is beautiful and beds very comfy. The owners even left us cream tea and milk! Thank you Ian
