Property Description

A glorious space to rest and recharge, the Brecon Beacons National Park ticks all the boxes for those looking for outdoor adventures, challenging walks or calming afternoons of exploring pretty market towns. Bring your mountain bikes, canoes and fishing rods; you ll find the River Usk just 1 mile away for water based activities and mountain biking and hiking routes from your very doorstep. Visit the park s highest mountain, Pen y Fan, just 10 miles away or head to the river to fish for salmon and trout. More relaxing days out can be enjoyed in the market town of Brecon (7 miles) or the picturesque village of Sennybridge (2 miles), where country pubs are ready to offer you a warm Welsh welcome. This surprisingly spacious converted 16th century stable has been maintained in a charming countryside style, perfectly fitting with its rural location. The heart of the house is a sociable and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area has an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and dining table for four. Choose the chair or sofa in the lounge and stay warm by the wood burner effect electric fire set in an original stone fireplace. A TV/DVD can be enjoyed here in the living area or whilst lounging in bed on the first floor. Upstairs, a bright and cheery double bedroom boasts plenty of storage space, a charming dressing table and an extra single bed. Completing the first floor is a contemporary bathroom with a large shower and WC, along with a jacuzzi bath and heated towel rail. Wander outside and soak up the sunshine on the private patio. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ provide the perfect spot for al fresco dining or morning coffee. On the estate, you ll also find a secure storage spot for outdoor equipment, including mountain bikes and canoes.
