A tour of Abercamlais (between March and September) comes highly recommended where you can gain a greater insight into the history of both the house and grounds. Walkers and cyclists have a great choice of landscapes: follow the river and canal paths or climb one of the many hilltops including the Black Mountains, Fan Fawr and Pen Y Fan.
