Family attractions include the National Showcaves (17 miles), The Big Pit (20 Miles) and Llangorse Lake (13 miles) where you can hire canoes and paddle boards. For the more easy going guests there are some lovely market towns including the bustling market town of Brecon (6 miles), well known for its famous jazz festival, independent shops and cafes, history, military connections and, of course, the magnificent cathedral. Hay on Wye, Crickhowell and Builth Wells, are all within 24 miles. Set within the privacy of a walled garden within Abercamlais Estate, this charming cottage is perfect for small families and couples along with up to three four legged friends. Located at the end of a lane and with no other properties nearby, guests can enjoy the peaceful seclusion, with only the sound of the river nearby. Access to the cottage is via the kitchen outside door, or the garden room, a sunny space suitable for lazy afternoons or morning coffee. From here, you will enter the lounge which offers access to a spacious boot room, well equipped with dog washing facilities and a separate shower room with shower and WC. There is a spacious lounge area with sofa, wood burning stove and smart TV. A large well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for preparing meals during your stay and includes a separate dining area. Upstairs, there are two beautifully finished bedrooms, a spacious king size bedroom enjoying garden views, and a twin room that also boasts garden views. Completing the property is a large bathroom with bath, vanity unit and WC. Outside, guests can relax within the walled garden. There is a table and chairs and charcoal BBQ, perfect for summer dining.
