From Galway Take the N84 road, turn left in Headford at the Traffic Lights and at Joyce's supermarket. Take the second right hand turn (1.9 miles/3km) at the signpost for Ballycurrin Lighthouse.  Take the fifth byroad on the left (2.9 miles/4.6km). There is a sign at the top of the road for Heron's Rest. The house is the 5th property.

The House was well equiped and the fact that milk, juice, tea, coffee, wasing powder, disher washer tabs, and shower gel and soap were in the house and as for the scones and shortbread was there when we arrived was a very nice touch. The fact that the owners were next door and they were very helpful.
