Holiday home
Greengables is a delightful first floor apartment situated on The Bay holiday village, three miles from Filey. This apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double with en-suite shower and one adult bunk, along with a bathroom. The apartment also has an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there's off road parking for one car, communal grounds with lakes and excellent on-site facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym and beauty treatments. Greengables is a lovely North York Moors base. It is anticipated that wifi will be available from 3/9/21 subject to proposed network provider installation, but please enquire first if you are wanting to book for the two weeks immediately after that date. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

All first floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Area
The traditional seaside resort of Filey has a long stretch of sand, individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels, a small coble landing, two promenades and crazy golf. Nearby, Flamborough Head boasts high cliffs with exhilarating walks, and Bempton Cliffs are a haven for bird lovers. Also the town of Scarborough is within reach.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Communal lawned grounds with lakes, picnic areas and BBQs. Communal leisure facilities including free use of indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Beauty treatments, tennis, putting green, bike hire, archery, target shooting and scuba diving lessons etc are available at an additional charge, payable on-site. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. On-site shop, pub and cafe 2 mins walk. Beach 10 mins walk. Note: Lakes on-site, children to be supervised.

Property was just as described clean & relatively comfortable. The open plan area was spacious & the kitchen was well kitted out for self catering. The lack of wifi was irritating to my granddaugter but it didn't bother me. I found the sofa was too low & the dining chairs were so heavy me and my grandaughter struggled to move them. I had difficulty parking anywhere near the property as all the other properties had more than one car so mine ended up round on the road near the archery centre, not a massive problem but thought parking near the property should be described as first come first served as there are no specific parking places. Beach was lovely and the walk down was lovely. We used the shop & the cafe once and the staff were very helpful & friendly.

Stayed at the bay numerous times now & Greengables is definitely one of the better apartments.. The owner couldn’t be anymore helpful with access arrangements & a slight issue we had with tv reception. Turned out all the surrounding area was affected, She found this out and kept us updated which was really appreciated as it was beyond her control, plenty to do without the tv so it wasn’t a problem .

Firstly i have a dog but have allergies to dogs thar moult so i dread booking accommodation thats dog friendly in case it sets me off - this apartment is super clean and allergy free, as is the whole site! I was so surprised!! The apartment felts so luxurious with all the home comforts (bar a hairdryer) and my husband loved the bedding so much in the master he wants some for home! Im not very tech savvy so trying to operate a super microwave was difficult without instructions but got there in the end. The owner rang with incredibly detailed instructions and advice and i couldnt recommend them highly enough. We didnt have chance to use the leisure centre or other activities but we did use the pub and rhe food was very nice and reasonable and the kids entertainment on Saturday night was great. The beach is spotless. We hope so come back for a longer stay next time. Just a note that the key safe is quite tough to open so persevering is key. What a fantastic place!

Lovely well equipped apartment at The Bay, Filey. Great on site amenities including a pub with excellent food on offer each evening. We took our dog and he really enjoyed his twice daily walks on the beautiful beach. The apartment was very clean, warm and welcoming, a true home from home.

The apartment is gorgeous, home from home everything you need with modern decor.. Exceptionally clean. The owner is super helpful with key info and contactable 24/7. We have been twice and will be going again. The bay is a great place to holiday!

Lovely apartment, lots of games for kids, many dvds, only problem we had was the pool depth, at 1.. 4 metres everywhere our youngest could not reach the bottom.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in a beautiful holiday village.. The swimming facilities etc were excellent and we enjoyed a well cooked meal at the pub. Loads to do in the local area for all the family. Beds were comfy and there were lots of games/ dvds etc. Thoughtful decoration made this a lovely place to stay in. The one downside was that although the bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless the kitchen wasn't as clean as it could have been. Oven gloves/ drainer needed replacing and we were only given 1 tea towel for the week. Other than this we would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The apartment was very clean and tidy, and after initial problems getting the heating to work, we were very warm and comfortable in the main living areas.. The facilities on site are very good, although the Italian Restaurant was not open during the week we stayed. The only complaint was the window in the main bedroom was extremely draughty when it was windy outside, so that room always felt a little cold. One the whole, we had a very enjoyable holiday

Nice furnished accommodation close to site amenities pub restaurant gym swimming good access to beach and nicely positioned for trips into Filey and Scarborough .the site is dog friendly which was great and during our stay it was all responsible owners keeping dogs on leash and cleaning up after them.we would reccomend and will return to the bay
