Looking like something out of a travel magazine, this modern accommodation's natural colour palette and minimal decor style isn't even the best bit when it has views of the Messinian Gulf to compete with. Drink them in from the private swimming pool or have your pick at the outdoor seating – there's a nook for everything from sunbathing to alfresco dining. And though the standout location might've drawn our eye, we also like the flexibility here – with two villas at your disposal, each with its own living, dining and kitchen spaces, it gives the entire family a little more space and privacy. Find Stoupa Beach and Neochori village, a short drive away.

Home truths:
*The bedrooms are spread between two adjacent villas, each with its own living, dining, and kitchen areas. At full occupancy, four guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the two separate living areas.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's parking here.
*As there are stairs to climb here, it might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*As with most homes in Greece, toilet paper can't be flushed. Please use the sanitary bin provided.
*There's no washing machine here, so you'll need to pack smart.
*If you'd like to stock up on essentials, the nearest supermarket is a short drive away.
