Or, explore Parikia (ten minutes in the car), where you’ll find plenty of shops and fine restaurants down its narrow cobbled streets and around its harbour. History lovers, on the other hand, can check out the Panagia Myrtidiotissa Monastery, around an eight-minute ride.
