The nearby western coast will dazzle you with its beautiful beaches, such as Porto Katsiki​, fifteen kilometres away.

Closer to home, the village of Vasiliki is something of a watersports and windsurfing mecca with a pebble and shingle beach that makes for stunning clear seas. There are plenty of traditional tavernas and lively bars, particularly around the harbour, where you can practically eat with your toes in the water.
