This hilltop hideaway sits on the outskirts of Heraklion. The nearest beach is 3.4 kilometres away, so you will need a car but your host can help arrange car rentals (along with a range of other extra services). And with plenty to explore along the coast, this home makes a great base from which to begin your island adventures. It’s also a sweet spot for lazy days by the swimming pool (heated upon request). You will find lots of steps so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility, but it’s a practical option for groups looking for space to stretch out and relax.
