But if you prefer to stay in, the infinity pool looks out toward the water, so sea views aren’t reserved just for the beach. Life feels more local here, with Tavronitis Village a fifteen-minute walk away, but if you're in the mood for more, Chania is just under a thirty-minute drive away. In the mood to grill? We love the outdoor oven, waiting for kebab and souvlaki, and dining alfresco.

*If you're travelling by plane, Chania is the nearest airport – it's a twenty-five-minute drive from this home.
