This contemporary villa is a stunning base for exploring Crete's northern coastline – but the views might tempt you to stay at home. There are plenty of sunny spots to lie back on a lounger and take in the views of the historic town of Rethymno – and the minimal interior decor is a sign to spend most of your time outside. If you're here on a workcation, the snug workspace is handy – just make sure you're done in time to enjoy a barbecue with family or friends. There's a supermarket and taverna conveniently located within walking distance (plus a historic monastery), but Rethymno's cobbled streets and seafront restaurants are just a short drive away.

*This home doesn't accept groups of young people.
*The terrace at this home overlooks other villas.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there are parking spots for up to two cars.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st April and 30th November. Please note that it's unfenced, and there's direct access from the bedrooms.
*There are steps throughout this home, including on the terrace, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
*Bed linen and towels are changed every three days.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide up to two cots and two high chairs for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Your host asks you to respect quiet hours between 11pm and 7am.
